This Way with Ms. Gray

About Me

Welcome! Thank you so much for stopping by This Way with Ms. Gray. I am Melinda Gray. I have built my life in the Pacific Northwest where I live with my family and sweet pup. I enjoy reading, feeding people, and spending time with friends and family.

I love to learn. I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Both Education and English as well as a minor in Biology from Washington State University. I completed my Master’s work at the University of Washington where my emphasis was both Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis. Currently, I hold endorsements in Biology 4-12, English 4-12, and Special Education K-12. I have experience in general education, special education, and self-contained behavior programs at both the elementary and middle levels.

My philosophy is solidly embedded in life long learning. The more I know about special education, behavior, classroom management, teachers, teaching, students, and their families the better I can support them. Keeping kids in the center of the conversation helps me stay grounded and effective.

I hope you are supported with my thoughts and wonderings about behavior, special education as well as all the resources I want to share with you!
